Navigon 8100T Review:
The Navigon 8100T is a dashboard-mounted GPS unit with a flat, sexy, 4.8-inch touchscreen. It’s easy to affix it to your dash via a suction cup. We especially liked the Reality View Pro feature, which gave us a realistic image of all of the streets we never knew existed in our area, complete with their actual road signs. The Navigon 8100T combines the standard 3D and 2D navigation with NASA-provided geographic guidance complete with rolling hills and elevations. The rest of the innards are standard fare with Bluetooth hands-free calling, voice entry, Zagat restaurant ratings, and the ultra road trip buddy, with the Exit Guide that lets you search upcoming exits …

Navigon 2100 Review:
The Navigon 2100 is a miniaturized version of the Navigon 5100 and 7100. It features the same, sleek black finish of the other two systems but has a smaller footprint at 4 inches wide by 3.1 inches tall by 0.8 inch deep and 5.6 ounces for easy transport between vehicles. It’s compact enough that you could feasibly use it while navigating on foot or mounted to a bicycle. The Navigon 2100 and 5100 have 3.5-inch screens, while the 7100 has a 4.3-inch widescreen. The big difference is that the 5100 and 7100 come with free lifetime traffic data, while with the 2100 you have to buy an activation code separately. …

Navigon 7100 Review:
The 7100 is equipped with a SiRFstarIII GPS chip and all maps of the United States and Canada are preloaded on the included SD card. As with most GPS devices, you can enter a location by specific address, point of interest, recent destination, user-defined home, and so forth. The Navigon 7100 can calculate routes in one of four ways–fast, optimum, short, or scenic–and gives you the option to allow or avoid highways and toll roads.
Pros of Navigon 7100
Excellent screen and info. I like info and I get all I need with the 7100. I especially like the upcoming turn arrow showing up if it is a close turn to the next …

Navigon 5100 Review:
The Navigon 5100 has only a 3.5-inch screen, no Bluetooth or media playback features, and a teensy 1.7-million-POI database. We like the Reality View feature, which gives users a photorealistic view of difficult upcoming turns, and we also like that you can look up Zagat Survey ratings, but this device’s menus and touch interface were sluggish.
With a sexy chrome finish and compact dimensions (4.2 inches wide by 3.3 inches high by 0.9 inch deep; 6.3 ounces), the Navigon 5100 is a nice-looking and ultraportable GPS device. However, its smaller size also means you won’t get the luxury of the larger 4.3-inch displays that are popping up on some of the systems …
